Fazlur Rehman stated: that while all political parties within the PDM alliance were always ready for elections, addressing economic challenges should take precedence. He highlighted that countries with unstable economies often struggle to maintain their independence. He also mentioned that his party, JUIF, has been advocating for elections for the past three and a half years.

Regarding the proposed election schedule for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province in late January next year, he expressed concerns about the severe cold weather conditions affecting the process.

When asked about the caretaker government system, Fazlur Rehman remarked that it was unsuitable. However, he humorously suggested that another overseer seemed to be managing the government.

Fazlur Rehman held the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) responsible for the current state of affairs in the country. He alleged that the PTI leadership had caused foreign exchange reserves to decline to as low as $2 billion. In contrast, he claimed that during the PDM government's tenure, foreign exchange reserves had increased to $11 billion in just a year and a half.

He criticized the PTI government for its handling of the economy, stating that PTI leaders still faced legal cases due to alleged wrongdoing. He asserted that Imran Khan had demonstrated incompetence in his actions. Fazlur Rehman also suggested that Pakistan's friendly nations might not extend support unless the PTI came back into power.

Regarding the return of Mian Nawaz Sharif, he suggested that all should warmly welcome him. He also mentioned that the PDM alliance was currently inactive, so Nawaz Sharif would manage his own welcome arrangements.

Responding to a question about the current wave of terrorism, Fazlur Rehman commented that it sent a message to the world that Pakistan was facing challenges in maintaining peace and security.
